In the morning we’ll transfer towards the Alta Langa area for a unique experience where we’ll learn about the Langa sheep tuma.
We’ll discover the world of this small organic cheese farm and meet the owner in person during a brief tour of the farm. The warmth of the owner's welcome, his authenticity, and his dedication to quality, tradition, and excellence, are truly touching at a deep level and will make your experience here memorable. After the visit, we’ll then transfer to a local Cascina to discover the secrets behind the precious hazelnuts of the Piemonte region that has led to the creation of famous cakes and many other local sweets. Here you will enjoy a wonderful lunch where you’ll find their best ingredient, the hazelnut, from the starter to the main dishes till the dessert.
On the way back to Alba, we’ll stop at a local butcher’s shop in Cherasco to discover the secrets behind the famous sausage of Bra. It linked to the presence in the past centuries of a large Jewish community, especially in the town of Cherasco, and produced using beef instead of the usual pork.
